ALL IS LIFE!

Artist Statement:

​

As an artist, I am essentially interested in painting works in a free and loose manner, I identify with “abstract expressionism”, without thinking much about the final result, rather I like to go slow and easy, achieving silence, evoking horizons and memories.

I seek to free painting from rigidity. Somewhat unconsciously I trace the first spots; then I let the work rest for a period of time and more consciously finish the last strokes.

I paint loosely, confidently, with honesty, I let the painting speak, and although I base myself on everything that has been written in terms of techniques, I have ventured into new expressions.

I just paint!

I believe that “Less is more”.

I am more attracted to organic shapes than to the geometric aspect, I prefer to silence all shapes in general, although sometimes timid geometric shapes appear in my paintings.

I usually work on three or four works at the same time, to carefully observe and analyze what is happening in each of those windows of light.
