MY PAINTING IS LIKE A KIND OF ACTION OR CONSTRUCTION:
Actually I don't always paint on the easel, I usually fix the canvas on the board so I can work on it better, and many times I prefer to place it directly on the wall or on the floor, since I need the resistance of a hard surface; and in this way I feel more comfortable, closer to the painting, and with a greater capacity to participate in it, since I can walk around the canvas, work from any of its four sides to literally enter the painting.
It is like a process of action or construction. At the beginning I don't know which side of the final picture will be in perspective, until the end I define myself.
Who says you should only paint with a brush? I prefer to look for my own instruments, in addition to the brush I can use; sticks, stones, rags, papers, spatulas among other things and fluid paint in dry or drip pigment, dripped, drained, thick sand-based impasto, or other materials...
